WINE 2X IS ALL THAT IS LEFT
The amount of material and detail in this skirt defies imagination. Before the cage bustle, was a skirt bustled by gathering and flouncing material down the back side in balloon like fashion, with multiple other layers of fabric that overskirted and or trained over the initial silhouette. This skirt is presented with 2 layers in front, and 3 in back, with a long train that finishes with a pleated ruffle that is no less than 8″ wide. There is a bow pleated ruffle that asymmetrically borders the overskirt, and help to define the draping in the front as well as reaching up and over the bustle to define it in back. There is a 2nd layer of fabric that comes to a point over the longest train layer, pointing to the ruffles. It gathers and balloons all down the back in proper 1869 style. (magazine plate included for reference). The train, depending on your height is 3 feet long. Side invisible zipper, with button waistband.
