box panniers bustle petticoat wench garb
At long last! Ever notice how pirate wenches in the movies look totally different than wenches at festivals? That’s because the only wench wear available to us has been pretty much Reniassance Faire garb but in pirate colors. Real 18th century women (and wenches) wore panniers. Just look at the POTC harlots or even Marie Antoinette and you know the sillouette. One size fits all with tie front and panniers that slide along a drawstring for perfect placement at your sides. Black satin hides well under dark color skirts and moves nicely with you as a low friction fabric. Super cheeky with pantalettes or bloomers. Coming soon is the Time Traveler Skirt that has the hem to match the pannier shape. With a regular hem skirt, tie the front up with cute stripey tights underneath. Wire interior frame colapses flat for storage when not worn, and keeps the panniers lightweight and easy to wear.
