Description
A tall leather boot, tall enough for an over-the-knee look for the tallest men, the Macbeth boot has a commanding presence. Thigh height is excellent for Elizabethan Renaissance Pantaloons, and swashbuckling tights, your basic Errol Flynn or “Pirates of Penzance” look. The Macbeth sports a 1 1/2 inch heel and a rubber sole, excellent for sticking fast on ship deck. They are quite tall. If you are below 5’10” please consider the Capulet Boots, and count down a size and a half for men’s equivalent. All people expect a different fit from boots, so consider the thickness of sock you will be wearing, and the fact that this does have a more narrow toe than a work boot or sport shoe. Consider going a half size up and adjusting with a thicker sock for the most comfort. If you know you comfortably wear a whole size with a thick sock, then chose your usual size and wear with a dress sock. These are just suggestions, only you will know how you like your boots to fit.

These boots are awesome! I opted for the “guy’s” boot because I have a wide foot (ladies 10 1/2).
The men’s 9 fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I’m impressed with the leather and also the hidden elastic within the lining that help keep the boots up on the thigh. It’s a nice touch that makes your product a bargain compared to many on the market. I can also scrunch them down and wear them with my harem pants for a different look. I’m very happy with my purchase!
