Processing Time

Orders received before 6am ship same day, all others following day. Do not count day of shipping as one of the UPS 3 day or 2 day guarantees. They only count day after pick-up as first day of guarantee.

If anything is out of stock, we will first attempt to reach you by email, but if no response in 24 hours, we will call you. However, for the most part, all items shown are in stock and ready to ship unless stated within the item description. Some items come directly from the manufacturer like the Rum Casks, and special order Shrine Coats take additional time to process. We will always let you know right away if there will be any delay. These items will state so on their description page.

Timely Deliveries

We are aware this is event oriented dressing and will not hesitate to contact you if there are exceptions to your order.

Special Consideration for Saturday Deliveries

When considering how fast you want an item to arrive, please keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on Saturday as a regular service, this must be asked for as an email custom order as the system does not recognize the difference between days of the week. USPS, however, does consider Saturday as part of its regular delivery days. If you order on a Thursday or Friday and want it on Saturday, you need to email or call us first.

UPS Does Not Count Pick-Up Day

UPS does not count the day of pick-up as one of the days in a 3 Day or 2 Day delivery. If you order on Monday evening and ask for UPS 3 Day select, and it goes out Tuesday, UPS will count Wednesday, Thursday and Delivery day of Friday as the 3 Days.

Shipping Materials

We sometimes use recycled or surplus shipping materials which are sometime pre-printed boxes from other companies.

We can enclose a personal note from you on cool Treasure Map Paper if you are sending a gift, just let us know.


There is a new surcharge above and beyond customs tariffs that is equal to or more than the original shipping charge. Use USPS if possible.

Shipping is Based on Weight and Distance

Domestic shipping is based on UPS or USPS, by weight and zone, from Portland, Oregon.

Tracking and Insurance

All packages come with tracking and liability coverage through UPS, but not us. Upgrade insurance through USPS is optional and must be requested. Any UPS residential order over 250.00 must have a signature for your protection against theft. You may request “No Signature Required,” but we cannot replace shipment if it shows arriving at its destination.

Returns of unworn items for refund are accepted for 60 days after sale date only. The amount you paid for shipping is not refunded unless the item was deemed defective. If items are received after 60 days, they are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Halloween Season Returns and Exchanges

During Halloween season, any item that was bought between September 20th – October 30th must be received back for refund by November 20th or is subject to a 15% restocking fee. In addition, no weapon or other accessory will be allowed for return, due to one-use abusers.

Returns: If you simply do not want your item, or it did not meet your expectations and you want to return for refund, just send to the address above with a note inside that includes your name and order number, and that you want a refund, and we will refund your card the amount of the item.

Because of hygienic concerns, we cannot accept back any item that has been worn (try-on ok). Items returned without the original hang tag may be considered “worn” if any discoloration or odor is detected. Also, there will be a 10% restocking fee for anyone sending back clothing that has been crumpled and crammed back into the box with no attempt to fold, or not returned in original packaging.  Boots and shoes must be returned in their original boxes, and boxes must be wrapped in the original plastic bag or other type of wrapping.  Boots or shoes returned with the shoe box used as the shipping box, taped, labeled, etc on the actual shoe box, is subject to a 15% restocking fee.

All items beyond 90 days cannot be refunded due to expiration of transaction, and must be given as store credit, with 15% restocking fee subtracted.


All regular priced clothing items are entitled to one free exchange on us to be sure you are happy with your choice of color or fit. Return pre-paid package labels are available upon request and are not included in the initial shipment because exchanges rarely seem to happen. We only do this by UPS Ground unless item is a pound or less.  We cannot however, provide return labels for boots, shoes, swords, decor or corsets. We ask that you return these for exchange on your own, and we’ll meet you in the middle by paying the outgoing shipping for the new item to come to you.

The free label program is for exchanges only, not refunds.

We cannot provide any exchange labels for international addresses.

For all Close-out items (prices that end in “.99”), we ask that you send the item back on your own for exchange, and we’ll still take care of the outgoing postage.

International Import Taxes

International shipments are subject to import tax imposed by the incoming country that we have nothing to do with. We do our best to balance the insurance cost declaration with the minimum we can state on the customs declaration so that you are not charged too much, but there may still be charges due. If the package is returned to us for refusal of payment of tariff charges, we will have to charge the return shipping and any fees incurred to you by deducting from your refund. If the refusal is by the incoming country for any reason (occasionally the weaponry) and not by you, we will NOT charge you the return fee.
