Description
No fashionable pirate would be caught dead without a swarthy sash round the waist, or round the head, and for ladies, this is an excellent inexpensive substitute for (and more comfortable than) a bodice or waist cincher, but looks terrific over one. The generous 115″ long and 8″ wide assures it should wrap around just about anyone twice at the very least. Great place to keep your sword or flintlock pistol tight to you, and who wouldn’t love some drapey accessory to tie around, wrap around, cinch, or otherwise display with layers of belt, scarves, shirt, breeches and boots. One size fits most. 100% cotton

Very nice sash. Was able to wrap it three times around my waist (although I am rather small); it could easily wrap around an average person twice. The fabric is thick and sturdy and a very lovely shade of red. Thank you!

Honestly, this one item probably pulls the pirate look together better than just about anything else. It’s so simple, yet so effective. My husband wears it either bandolier style (over the shoulder) or around his waist. He tucks his reproduction pistols into it. The sash can also be tied and left hanging down.

Nice strong solid cloth, I’m a 42″ waist and can wrap it twice with a knee length hang, is ESSENTIAL for any 16th – 18th century look. Wear it under a belt, or over a vest or jacket check out Cutthroat Island, Pirates of the Caribbean or Man in the Iron Mask for great sash-costume references

Very nice item. As others have mentioned, it is very long.

Received the sash very quickly. The sash is a great shade of red, perfect pop of color for any pirate. Also a great length to wrap around waist a couple of times. Husband can’t wait to use it.
