Description
Everything about this dress is wonderful. Wear as a dress, wear as a blouse, wear over other layers for an elegant Pirate Queen. Tight weave viscose rayon looks and acts like cotton. Crazy huge bell sleeves, elastic ruched waistline, and 2 gentle hem points in front, one huge dip in the back. Knee length in front, ankle length in back.
Wear with a corset and leggings, wear with a bodice and long skirt, wear by itself, you’ll find a myriad of ways that this will be your favorite. Wear out in the real world with a belt and jeans.
For the same shape as a blouse that is only hip length in front and thigh/knee length in back, try the Lady Cutlass Blouse.

I bought this blouse/dress to wear with an overbust corset and skirt, and it looks fantastic! I wear a size M top and 6 jeans. The one-size fits me well.
The elastic midsection is form-fitting without being tight or constricting. The material is very flowy and light without being see-through, and has a natural crinkle. I feel like it would be well-suited to a hot day at the fair. It wears well on or off the shoulders, and with my corset to hold it in place, the neckline can also be pulled higher or lower to give me whatever level of coverage I want.
Shipping was very fast, and I appreciated that I received a personal response to my notes on my order. Great product, great customer service, five stars all around.

I bought the burgundy dress for Pirate Weekend at the Renaissance Fair. It was comfy and looked great! I’ll be wanting one in every color. Thanks!

This dress is lovely, but a bit too transparent in ivory to wear without a slip–I plan to underline the skirt portion in cotton gauze to make it opaque. I am 5’10, size 0 on top, size 6 on the bottom, and bought the petite-small. It is a bit shorter than it appears on any of the models, but not immodestly so. I may add a fine chain to the bottom hem as well, if it blows up too much in the wind. The fabric is also a bit yellower than photographed (you can see the fabric on the “blouse” listing). Despite these factors, this is by far the most beautiful pirate-renaissance-medieval dress on the market and I intend to wear it as everyday clothing, and over a long linen skirt for faires. Out of a piratical context, it’s downright pre-Raphaelite.

I ordered this dress in red for my wedding, and I could not be happier! I got it 2 days after I ordered it and it really is a lovely shade of red and the quality is fantastic! It also fits like a dream. I will definitely be back to buy more.
